The 1962 VW Beetle is a casting by Matchbox that debuted for the 1999 mainline. The casting has a number of MB363 and was originally produced from 1999 to 2013 when it was discontinued. The casting returned for the 2018 mainline, being heavily reworked for easier assembly such as a reworked interior and base.
